Why don’t we…find our inner steam punk?

Nothing says steam punk like a corset. I bought this one forever ago for a steam punk themed party and never tossed it out. Subconsciously I knew I would find a way to make it work in my wardrobe again one day.

Layering is the trick to make something work in all types of situations. My button up shirt allow me to wear my corset in this cold weather, and also dresses down my look from a “going out” to a “office” look. To incorporate some theatricality into your wardrobe try adding a waist cincher corset to your favorite shirt.  To complete the theme I had to throw on my favorite leather leggings. I highly recommend the Spanx leather leggings, they are flattering and don’t lose their shape over time.
