Why don't we...wear artwork

Why don’t we…wear artwork.
Starry Night by Van Goah. One of the more recognizable pieces of artwork in the world, which is how I was able to spot it while out shopping. If you like these, check out more artwork series socks on HotSox’s website. If you love Van Goah they have an option that is subtler with a black and gold color scheme.
While I love a good minimalistic look, I am mad about color. Color blocking with the right shades can have just as much cohesion as a classic black and white look. With a pair of socks as bold as these, color blocking is the only way to go. This is an easy way to spice up your wardrobe without breaking the bank. If you are timid about trying this, start out with the basics. Think of Snow White. Snow White color blocks with the primary colors, so that is a good place to start. Yellows and blues coordinate well. Blues and reds can pair nicely together too. Or better yet, go monochromatic, different shades of blue can go nicely against each other.
For this look I decided to go the reds and blues route. With the help of my tootsie tapestry I was able to tie the whole look together. The more rustic shades of blue and red ( turquoise and rust) can go nice together creating a southwestern style.
Cheers,
Kelsey
